Anthony M. Supino, Esq., 47, of Plainfield, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010.
Born in Weehawken, NJ, Mr. Supino resided in Long Beach Island, NJ before moving to Plainfield, NJ 6 years ago.
He was a Self Employed attorney with Supino & Associates Law Firm of West Orange, and New York. Previously, he was a partner with the law firm of Arkin, Schaefer & Supino of New York and was formerly associated with Cravath, Swaine and Moore in New York and a former Clerk for NJ Supreme Court Justice Marie Garibaldi.
Mr. Supino was a graduate of North Bergen High School and Rutgers University where he received his BA Degree in Applied Science and studied in the Philosophy Department before earning a Juris doctor Degree in 1988.
He was an accomplished attorney admitted to the Bars of NY, NJ, US District Courts of NY and NJ, and the Second and Third Circuits of the US Court of Appeals. Mr. Supino enjoyed mountain biking, racquetball, and traveling.
Son of the late Anthony and Gloria Supino, beloved father of Lorenzo Cole Supino, dear brother of Christopher of Plainfield, NJ, Gioia Delgado of North Bergen, Bianca Sutich of Plainfield, Cara Bas of Kinnelon, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held at the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ on Tuesday from 7-9 PM with a prayer service beginning at 8 PM.
