Like others, I met Tony through the annual Garibaldi clerks dinners. He was an intelligent and humorous individual. I am saddened to learn of his passing, and offer my sincere condolences to his family.

I, too, would look forward to seeing Tony at the annual Garibaldi clerk dinners. He was unfailingly warm, charming and generous. Between the dinners, Tony would often call to suggest story ideas for me at the Wall Street Journal. His ideas reflected his passion for the law. My most vivid memory of Tony, however, was his fierce love for and pride in his son. My thoughts go out to him and to Tony's other family.

Tony, Peter Drucker and I clerked for Justice Garibaldi in 1988-1989. Tony was a brilliant lawyer who loved the law and was devoted to social justice. He also had a great sense of humor and was extremely generous. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of Tony's family members and friends. I met Tony while he was still clerking for Justice Garibaldi, and I then saw him several times at the annual dinner her former clerks hold in her honor each year. Tony was full of life and energy then, and his personality and sense of humor always filled the room. I believe he touched a lot of people in the same way. May he now rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Tony's passing. We were associates together at Cravath years ago and had stayed in touch only intermittently. But I have only the warmest memories of Tony -- intelligent, funny, down-to-earth, and a stand-up guy. Although I know he had a difficult life, Tony was a great guy. His passing is a real loss. My condolences.

Tony was my law school classmate at Rutgers Law School Newark and I heard about his passing today from my former co-clerk on the New Jersey Supreme Court. I was saddened to hear the news and my condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones. While we haven't been in touch in recent years. I have a strong recollection of Tony in certain classes and discussing legal issues with him, his brilliance and certain physical atributes, including his tight dark curly hair. Thinking of his family and close friends through this difficult time. Laura Farina 2/21/10

Tony clerked for me for a year. He was an outstanding attorney and a very nice young man. I remember I went to his wedding. In the last few years he came to some of the annual meetings of the Garibaldi Clerks. He often talked about his family and how wonderful you all were to him. He should have had a brillant career but he was so handicapped by his illness. May he rest in peace.
